Mr. Medwedeff,

I wanted to take the time to respond to your email regarding my stay at our beautiful hotel. I arrived around 10:15 am on February 29th fully expecting that I would not be able to check in until that afternoon.


Anca, a front desk supervisor, not only was checking me in but in addition she as able to give me early check in and informed me that I had been upgraded to a gulf front room. She said it was a shame that I was only there for one night and I told her that a friend was arriving on Saturday and I was sharing a room with her. She quickly offered to see if she could leave us in the same room, did some checking, said she thought that would work out and told me to check back on Saturday morning. I stopped by on Saturday morning and Pamela stated all had been taken care of.

That was just the first of the times that I noticed what GREAT customer service you provide at your hotel. The valet parking staff - it was always good morning, have a great day, hope you had a great day, welcome back, etc. The staff from Quinn’s that provided food and beverage service at the pool and beach always were great. Every person I interacted with was friendly, polite, and always went that extra mile. I was walking past the front desk on the day we checked out. Anca was behind the counter and called me by name. I was quite impressed to say the least!

I have several more reservations at Marriott facilities with the first one this coming Friday at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort and two more in April and May at the Renaissance M Street Hotel in Washington, DC. You have set the standard and I look forward to my visits to these hotels.

I work in health care and while it is different from a hotel, we are both in jobs that require the extra above and beyond for customer service.

Without a doubt, your staff displayed that extra above and beyond. Kudos to you and your staff for a job well done!

    During our many visits over the years, we have found the service at the Marco Marriott to be incredible. We will be returning, once again, on March 21 with a teenager recovering from surgery. She is so comfortable at the resort that her doctors felt the trip would greatly aid in her recovery. So, among the many other benefits of a stay at the Marco Marriott, it can also be very good for your health! We are counting the days and hours.
