Our stay was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door until we checked out. Your resort is lovely, and your staff clearly understands how to make guests feel well-cared for. We will be back!
I do stay at Marriotts all over the country. When I find exceptional service by an individual, I try to make that known. So, here are a few notable staff experiences we had during our stay. When we walked in the door, Alex at the front desk thanked me for my loyalty to the Marriott, congratulated us on our anniversary, and then without being asked, worked to find us a room with a view of the Gulf. He was so gracious, and that gesture greatly increased our stay overall. What a spectacular view!
That afternoon we spent time at Quinn’s and Carla was our waitress. She made us feel part of the “family”! She was fun, great service, and was ideal for our vacation kick-off. We already had reservations at Kurrent for that evening and she introduced us to her husband, Rob, and we requested him as our server that evening. He definitely understood fine dining, pampering, and special service, too. On Sunday we took a fun and relaxing sailing and shelling expedition and I believe Shannon was our Captain. Very informative and fun. The Spa was a great experience. We loved having the quiet pool to relax in after our massages. Everyone was gracious.
Finally, Stella who set up a number of reservations ahead of time for us helped make sure we made the right choices in many areas. She never missed on one recommendation. I left her a note and tip for the concierge to send her as I understand she works from out of state. You would never know it as she knew the area so well. The rooms were always well taken care of, as well.
You run a wonderful resort that excels in the customer experience. Well, back to reality. I will be at the Denver Marriott Tech Center Thursday night, where I am right at home!
