Kathy Sherrard, our Senior Account Executive, hosted a once in a lifetime client event in Denver, Colorado at the Billy Joel Concert.

The evening began when Dave & Shelly Roney, Meeting & Event Resources, Justin Ball with Fast Enterprises and Susan Rourke with Allstate joined Kathy and her husband Kevin at their home for dinner and Paradise Punch served in tiny coconuts.Just as the sun was setting behind the Rocky Mountains, we jumped in the limousine and played our favorite Billy Joels songs as we made our way to the Pepsi Center in downtown Denver.

Mark Rivera, the saxophone player for Billy Joel’s band greeted us and walked us to our seats, center stage, 3 rows back…Amazing! We were all wondering where the piano was…to ensure we have good seats (ha!). Suddenly, the Piano appeared and Billy Joel kicked off the show with one of his most amazing songs! Singing to almost every song, we all were tapping our feet and rocking back & forth…. Being in the Rocky Mountains, once he played “Billy the Kid” we all jumped up and started dancing directly in front of Billy Joel! Mark Rivera, our host, had amazing solo spotlight opportunities playing the Saxophone, he is incredibly talented, in addition to playing the Saxophone, he played the Flute, the Oboe and also sang along with Billy.

After the concert, we hopped in the Limo with Mark, and went over to the Ritz Carlton for some after concert food & fun. The perfect evening came to a perfect finish when I had the opportunity to have my picture taken with Billy Joel wearing our signature Lilly Pulitzer wardrobe… It was truly an extraordinary and memorable event for all.
